Abel Valdez

Owner, Chief Executive Officer

Abel Valdez is one of the original five members of Sentinel Worldwide. After 20+ years of serving his country in the U.S. Army, Abel retired and moved out to Colorado in June 2006 in order to help start Sentinel Worldwide. Abel Speaks Arabic, Russian, Spanish, French languages and has extensive experience in the Levant, Arabian Peninsula, North Africa, East Africa, Central Asia, Central and South America. 

Abel has a long history of work in client management, facilitation, preventive intelligence, crisis management.  In 2006, Abel began as a Senior Regional Director, responsible for all regions Sentinel Worldwide operates in. These included the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), West Africa, FSU, Latin America, and Europe. Abel’s duties included New Country Entry, infrastructure threat and vulnerability assessment, client management, and crisis management establishment and implementation.

In 2007, as the Director of Operations, Abel ran day to day operations in all of Sentinel areas of reach. Abel advised the Board of Directors on operational matters, strength and growth, and the future evolution of Sentinel Worldwide. In 2009, The owners of Sentinel Worldwide decided to leave, and gave Abel the opportunity to run Sentinel and become one of its executive partners. Abel immediately sought to recruit former military colleagues with the most relevant and current skill sets and impeccable work ethic.
